They are such a pleasure to work on. Hamilton made an excellent watch, and this one happens to have the very reliable 982 movement powering it. The case is very sturdy and thick measuring 38mm at the band lug tips, and 21mm minus the winding crown. Its 14kt gold filled case shines up beautifully! Light age to the vintage dial with its solid 10kt gold markers. The name "HAMILTON" speaks volumes about the person wearing it. I still has an original, fashionable, vintage leather band. Extremely nice piece all around. The powerhouse of the watch, a 19 Jewel Hamilton 982, is running absolutely fabulous. It keeps excellent time and is running strong with its new mainspring installed. It has been serviced: cleaned, oiled & timed. This piece was well maintained by its previous owner, and is a true vintage classic! Also, I would like to say, this pieces are worth much more as an entire watch, I buy and sell all the time. It is more valuable this way than the amount of gold actually in it. These timepieces are quickly disappearing due to the lack of knowledge of there value by the "gold re-claimers" and "scrappers" out there. It is an unfortunate truth, and once they are gone...it is forever. *Insurance and delivery confirmation already figured into the shipping price*
