This is an unusual Elgin pocket watch made by the Elgin Watch Company of Elgin, IL circa 1910. 14 size (meaning the movement measures about 1.633" in diameter), 7 jewels and stem wind and stem set. The thick raised glass is clear (as shown in 2nd photo), the bow is tight and the dial is in good condition. Serial #15265305 The case is silverode (meaning it's a mixture of other metal along with silver), has a rear dust cover and the case is in good vintage condition but does show a bit of wear on the rear cover. Case serial #1866583 Has been cleaned, oiled and serviced and runs well...we guarantee all our watches for 1 year after purchase.
