12 size (meaning the movement measures 1.566" in diameter), Elgin pocket watch made by the Elgin Watch Company of Elgin, IL in 1906. Unusual and ornate dial, 15 jewels with beautiful jewel settings, safety pinion, gold wheels, stem wind and stem set, side winder. The glass is clear, bow is tight, dial is beautiful and both front and back covers work well. Serial #12577931 The case is 14k gold filled with 2 small "dimples" in the back and small initials "JPG" engraved on the back. Great "eyeball" looking case. Serial #3830937 Has been serviced by a certified watch repairman and runs well. We try to be as precise as possible in describing all our watches with as much information as we have available to us.
