Completely hand crafted this luxurious watch is crafted of solid 14 karat yellow gold, embellished with incredible hand applied ornaments of green, and rich pink gold. Of truly wonderful quality, this watch is an absolute masterpiece and one of the finest multi color gold pocket watches we have ever come across. It is very rare to find multi color gold pocket watches, and to find one with such fine detailing, beautiful hand engraving, and in virtually unused condition is nearly unheard of. Dating to approximately 1900 this stunning watch looks as though it was just made yesterday, showing no signs of use or any signs of repair~The condition is simply stunning. Centering the front of this beautiful watch is a hand carved applied monogram plaque designed for engraving with the wearers initials, in rose gold. Framing either side of the plaque are stunning hand carved and hand applied flowers in green, and yellow gold on the pink gold case. The body of the case features an engine turned design and a beautiful hand engraved scroll work motif accented by three hand engraved diamond cut stars. By depressing the winding crown the front cover of the watch opens via a spring loaded mechanism revealing the hand painted porcelain dial signed 'Waltham'. The reverse of the case is hand engraved with the same beautiful engine turned motif, and scroll motif embellished with high polished diamond cut stars. Framing the center of the case back is a single antique mine cut diamond set in a star of gleaming highly polished rose gold. Surrounding the diamond set star are beautiful yellow and green gold accents in a floral motif, accompanied by leaves of hand carved green gold. Accenting either side of the central diamond are beautiful hand carved applied flowers of rose, yellow, and rare green gold. In beautiful condition, this watch also functions superbly. The watch features a clearly readable hand painted porcelain dial with roman numerals centered by black steel hands. The fifteen jewel manual winding waltham movement is running beautifully, and has been fully serviced by our master watchmaker who has over a half century of experience in restoring antique timepieces. The case is signed as being solid 14 karat gold. Watch measures approximately 2" in diameter, and would make a stunning pendant.
