Elgin OS 7J #8429502 vintage ladies pocket watch, clean nickel split plate movement with fancy fish-scale damascene pattern, mint porcelain enamel dial with roman numerals and subsidiary seconds register, blue steel spade style hands and gold second hand, beautiful multi-colored yellow gold filled (YGF) hunting case (HC) with engraved design of flowers and vines on a trellis accented with rose, green and sharp yellow, mountain house on lake with sailboat engraved on one side, fancy monogram "C" on the other, beaded engraved bezels, inscription on dust cover "M.V. Gibson 1900 Murray", case showing normal light wear with a few light scratches on the dust cover near the case lip. A beautiful vintage pocket watch from the late 1800's in excellent+ condition! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
