At just 1,000 pieces, this watch was sold out as soon as it hit dealers cases and instantly sold for huge premiums over retail price. The watch features a massive titanium case with special helium release valve on side of case. The new rubber strap was designed with special flex-ridges to allow the watch to be worn snugly on the wrist but gives enough flex not to get tight as the wrist expands/contracts in size due to weather conditions or activity you are doing while wearing the watch.This watch was purchased in 2008 from authorized Panerai dealer... and comes complete with dealer stamped Warranty Card, along with the original Panerai Owners Registration Postcard. The Panerai Owners Registration Postcard allows the owner to register their watch with Panerai's Archival Ownership Service. If the watch is ever lost or stolen and subsequently presented to Panerai for service, the watch will be returned to its original owner at no charge. Filling out this card with your name and address will also allow you to receive a complimentary Panerai hat and from time to time, as Panerai typically sends other goodies like desk calendars, books, magazines, and invitations to attend special events.
