Stuhrling Originals newest timepiece from the Lifestyle Collection the Basilica II announces itself from its divinely outward appearance as do the majestic basilica churches of the Roman Empire. Built with simplicity in mind the Basilica II features a classic three-hand movement with a quick-set date complication powered by a premium Swiss quartz engine. And while the overall look of the Basilica II is eminent the most dramatic aspect is the unique cathedral-style crystal! Made of Krysterna for strength and durability this one-of-kind crystal is domed and custom cut with half-moon facets that give the appearance of side arches like that of an ancient cathedral. The cutting-edge distinctive design of the crystal forms a perfect frame for the unusual grouping of the medieval Arabic numerals on both sides of the aisle. The Luminova filled old-fashioned leaf-style hands make an immaculate consummation to the assembly inside. The distinctly original tonneau-shaped case that houses the Basilica II is milled from solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel; and with a high-polish finish and a classic knurled edge crown the Basilica II is reliably water resistant to 30 meters. For a final touch of grace the Basilica II is secured onto an ever-so supple genuine French leather strap with double-row stitching and fitted with a traditional tang buckle.
