This is a very handsome vintage Bulova man's tank watch crafted in 1955 (L5). The watch features heavy prominent lugs with an arced bezel top. The beautiful case is 10K yellow rolled gold filled and is in good condition for a watch of this age, showing no sign of base metal. It measures 22mm x 37mm (lug to lug). The case back is signed and stamped with serial #A490963. It was engraved at time of its original purchase "Mary Ann to Dad 1955". The Bulova 21 Jewel 8AC movement is still running strong and keeping accurate time, though we cannot warranty its future performance. The white dial is in good condition with some visible shading from age. It features gold tone applied Arabic numbers and markers and a 60 seconds sub dial at the six o'clock position. The gold hands are in perfect shape and the signed original crown is also in good condition. The thick acrylic domed crystal is clear with minor scratches and enhances the classy look and feel of this timepiece. The watch is fully signed on the dial, case, movement and the crown. This watch comes fitted with a well matched gold tone Kreisler stretch band. You cannot beat this price for such an elegant, functional timepiece.
