In todays global environment this is a functionality that is increasingly popular and desired. Many watch-makers have entered their creations into the ring of world-timers. Stehrling Original is extremely proud to present their latest entry into the category of multiple time-zone watches, The Traveler. This incredible timepiece will be the envy of your friends and associates for its handsome good looks and its amazing functionality! The premium Swiss quartz movement is designed to keep perfect time all over the world after being set just one time! With many world-timers, you have to rotate a ring of world cities to indicate the different time zones around the world. With The Traveler, as the time of day moves with the minute hand, so too does the twenty-four hour wheel in the center of the dial telling the time for the cities representing the major time zones all around the globe! Just set it once and its done! The cities that are shown around the ring on the inner dial are the accepted cities that typically represent each time zone. For instance, Eastern Standard Time is represented by New York; Central Standard Time is represented by Chicago, and so on. And just for that sake of distinctionThe Traveler is the one and only world-timer anywhere in the world to list Jerusalem (instead of Cairo), a Stehrling Original innovation. The list of cities representing the major time zones is as follows: New York; Chicago; Denver; Los Angeles; Anchorage; Hawaii; Samoa; Auckland; Noumea; Sydney; Tokyo; Hong Kong; Bangkok; Dhaka; Karachi; Dubai; Moscow; Jerusalem; Paris; London; Azores; South Georgia; Rio De Janeiro; Caracas. The presentation on The Traveler does not take a back seat to its technical achievement either! The elegance and grace of The Traveler is evidenced by the magnificent guilloche soleil dial-work on its face. The guilloche dial has been hydraulically embossed with more than fifty impressions by true watch-making artisans using a time-honored technique used in only the finest of timepieces. This type of dial-work in The Traveler has become a hallmark of Stehrling Original. The sleek leaf style hands and individually applied delicate Arabic numerals are a chic complement to the poise of this timepiece. The twenty-four hour wheel in the center features attractive printed italicized Arabic numerals and the date aperture window just above the six oclock position is stylishly cut into the dial with an inverted beveled effect. Only the finest 316L surgical grade stainless steel is used to construct the 40-millimeter round case of The Traveler and the crystal through which you see the face is a Krysterna crystal for true strength and durability. The bezel is beveled and polished to harmonize with the high-polish finish on the case. There is a notched opening just below the crown for ease in grabbing and using the pull-out knurled edge crown, and the screw-down case-back is decorated with a globe and the name Traveler embossed splendidly in case you want to "show-off" your new watch! The perfectly padded alligator embossed genuine French leather strap is 20 millimeters wide with quick release pins for easy interchangeability and also features a waterproof liner to repel sweat to increase the life expectancy of the strap.
