Here is a stunning vintage snakeskin and leather shoulder bag or grab handbag, probably from the mid to late 1940s. This amazing handbag is made from real natural snakeskin and brown leather, in a envelope style. Adjustable strap which can be made long enough to be worn on the shoulder as shown in the photos or made shorter to be more a grab handbag length. Fastens securely with a thick tab that pushes neatly into a slot at the front, the inside is lined with light tan brown real suede with various compartments including a central zip pocket. In good vintage used condition the odd minor mark here and there, also some rubbing and slight skin loss down the side of the fastening tab but this is not noticeable at all as you can see from the pictures but is reflected in the lower price. Amazing for its age and a great collectors piece! Condition: Good (rubbing to tab fastener, minor marks) Measures 10inches by 8iches
