This is a absolutely gorgeous watch, a stunning Victorian design from the 40's or 50's. Maker is Geneve, with a 17 jewel mechanical movement. Recent appraisal $6,750.00. (Appraisal included with sale) Mesh style bracelet, with an slide adjustment, black enameling, and with anstriking tassel motif. This watch weighs in at 62.5 grams. Watch design allows covered timekeeping section to be removed and worn as brooch. The plain rectangular dial with simple hands is marked "Geneve", and the watch faceplate is under the hinged cover. (the faceplate is not pictured yet as I need someone to hold it open for me, soon) Looks never worn, this piece never fails to elicit the ohhhs and ahhhs!
