This painted metal solid copper bracelet of golden hammered metalwork features four handmade curved plates linked by contrasting jump rings and my handcrafted hook and eye clasp. Joe cut each plate by hand from repurposed industrial sheet copper, I hammer textured them to achieve the rustic texture, tumbled them for strength and shine, colored them with non-toxic gold metal paint, and baked them for durability of the patina. For contrast, I used bright copper wire for the connecting jump rings (also handmade by Joe and me) and the graceful hammered clasp. The plates are about 35mm (1-3/16") by just over 1/4 inch wide.
