This handmade gold brass cuff bracelet by DianaShyeJewelry on Etsy has been carefully forged to give it a concave shape and a delicate matte texture. I created this cuff by sawing a strip of brass plate and then forging it on a mandrel with a raising hammer to give it a slightly concave shape. Then I used a forging hammer with a narrow cross peen to cover it completely with a delicate matte texture. Finally, I applied two coats of jeweler's lacquer to protect the finish and prevent tarnish. This cuff is just 7/8" (2.2 cm) wide and just over 6" long (16 cm) wiith a 7/8" (2.2 cm) gap between its two ends . It is very sturdy, but nevertheless has some spring to it, so it can be opened or closed slightly to enable it to fit wrist sizes from meduim-small to medium-large.
