An Edwardian sculpture holding at its center two .45ct old mine cut diamonds, clear and gloriously cut. The facade of the setting is one of the finest displays of workmanship of the era, with filigree that could only have been performed by an experienced workman. The design perfectly encapsulates the two ancient stones, and sets ten other diamonds at their edges; handmaidens to a royal couple. :::::::::::::SETTING::::::::::::: White and Yellow gold - the yellow gold is hallmarked "14", but the white gold is highly likely 18K. Ring size is 5, and total weight is 1.84g, with a 4.5mm rise above finger and band width between 10.5 and 2mm. In gorgeous antique condition. ::::::::::::::STONES::::::::::::: Two Old Mine Cut Diamonds, 4.41 and 4.45mm in diameter, estimated at .45ct each. The stones are incredibly clear; they are VS or better in terms of internal inclusions, and color I. One of the stones has naturals on the pavilion, which is a delightful addition to the fluctuating facets of this Old Mine Cut.
