For your consideration is this very rare Seiko Solar, vintage clean energy watch from the 1970's. A very interesting time piece in that this watch works on energy collected by the sun. The watch has 21 jewels, a safety chain, and is marked both on the back and the band WGP. The design is contemporary or modern - very sleek with an unusual square face and nice lines in the band, along with a platinum colored face. It has all of the original parts and is in good working condition. The measurements of the face are 5/8" x 5/8" and 1/4" thick with the band measuring 7" in length. The band can be adjusted by removing some links, which I have not done. The watch has the following marks: Back is marked - SEIKO 0802040 WGP BACK ST STEEL 10-3400 and the Seiko logo. Closure is marked - SEIKO WGP M A fascinating clean energy solar watch.
