Very elegant mechanical Soviet Army wristwatch, this watch model was a special order of USSR Ministry of Defence. The watch winds well, sets the time properly, date advances properly, shockproof and dustproof. The watch dial measures 1,18†(3 cm) in diameter. Arrows, points and digits of the watch a bit glowing in darkness. The brand new premium leather band included. Overall very good vintage condition. Made by Vostok Chistopol watch factory. Right after the end of the World War II, the Chistopol Watch Factory Vostok started the production of mechanical wrist watches — its main production item ever since. From 1957 “Vostok†watches have been exported abroad. Year: 60' Made in USSR NOTE: All watches I’m selling are mechanical – it means, that every watch uses mechanical mechanism to measure the passage of time (no battery required), as opposed to modern quartz watches which function electronically.
