This is an rare and unusual mens wristwatch. The dial on the watch is beautiful and like-new! I don't know if it was ever worn. The band is loose on one end. I am hopeful you can get it repaired. It is very clean and is working. It appears to be an automatic watch. It starts running with movement. It is not marked automatic anywhere. There are letters on the face. They are: "NDS" and "BBC". There is a long name in between these letters that I cannot read. The font is unusual and makes the name hard to decipher. At the top of the dial is a brown STAR. On the bottom of the face of the watch is a seal with wings around it. The date also shows on the dial. The crystal is very clean with no scratches. I have been told this is a Russian Military Watch, most likely Navy. That is the only information I can offer. I am not a watch expert. The numbers on the dial are gold colored, the hands look luminescent and the second hand is red. The dial measures 1-1/4" diameter. The rest of the watch is a silver color or stainless steel. This watch is "SOLD AS IS for parts or repair" It is from my 50+ year family watch and jewelry collection. I hope I have covered all your questions, but if you have another one, please ask.
