I am not a watch or clock expert but since I acquire Estate jewelry I always pick them up when I see ones with a nice case, good name, or interesting works. This one is worth the TLC it needs. It has a wonderful fancy 800 silver closed face case in beautiful condition. It does not run. The stem will turn to the left but not to the right (I did not want to force it - so when I get these types of watches, I simply wipe them down and leave it to those who know what they are doing). It is missing one hand and the glass bezel. The enamel face of the watch is pure white and remarkably clean. There is a a separate minute hand section within the face of the watch and that hand is present and is metallic blue in color. It measures approx 36.5mm across the works so I would call it a size 8 pocket watch. This is a lever set watch. When you pull the lever out and turn stem to right the remaining hand on the clock moves. When lever is put back down in place the hand is in a locked position. (As I mentioned it is missing one hand but the mechanism works) Markings: Front inside case - EZ (then below) 0 - 800 - (then below) 10247 Cuvette (works cover) - Cuivre - 10247 Back inside case - Swiss (then below) EZ (then belowe) 0 - 800 - (then below) 10247 The inside of the works are very clean. There are no serial numbers on the works. Down inside the works with a 10X loupe it is marked SWISS (which might be on the plate the works are mounted on - it difficult for me to tell).
