This is a great looking Lord Elgin wrist watch made by the Elgin Watch Company of Elgin IL circa the 1960s. 25 jewels, self winding/mechanical, waterproof, gold filled bezel and sweep second hand. The dial is in very good condition, the crystal is clear and the case is in good condition, especially for it's age. The case measures about 1 3/8" in diameter and could be considered for either a man or a woman. We've also added a handcrafted de Beers Paris lizard grain band. Has been recently serviced (cleaned and oiled) by a certified watch repairman and runs well...our watches are guaranteed to run for one year after purchase. We try to be as precise as possible in describing all our watches with as much information as we have available to us. Sometimes details may be overlooked. All watches have been previously owned and have the usual signs of wear from years of existence...we try to point out any excessive signs of wear.
