We are offering a Vintage Retro Style 1970's Timex Men's Electric Dynabeat Wrist Watch with sweep second hand which is in Very Good Vintage Condition. This has a Gold color metal case with a Stainless Steel back and a Goldtone Bracelet Band in Stainless Steel made by Baldwin (10K Gold Filled Top - all other parts Stainless Steel.) The watch has had a new battery installed and is running great. These early Electric watches run on a battery but the movement is like a mechanical wind-up watch including the ticking sound. These are a cool Mid Century transistion between mechanical watches and the later and more accurate quartz watches. The crystal has some very light scratches. The dial is white and black numbers with a classy/dressy looking font. The case sports an unusual concentric ring pattern giving it a fancier appearance than the run of the mill Timex watches. The back reads: Timex, A Cell, Water Resistant, Base Metal Bezel, Stainless Steel Back. Case inside says Case Great Britain. The watch does have a sweep second hand. This watch was made in the 1970's. In whole, it is a great looking watch for use, display or collection. Because this is vintage and I have not serviced the works, I cannot guarantee that this watch will continue to work without servicing. Watch measurements are as folllows: Case 36mm excluding the crown 38mm including the crown MM Size Reference: Eisenhower silver dollar = 38mm Kennedy Half dollar = 30mm Washington Quarter = 24mm Don't let this one get away!
