Very interesting piece with a concave carnelian on one side and a dark colored stone or glass on the other with the intaglio relief of a woman's profile. Not all that uncommon, but the chain is rather weird and interesting. I don't know if it's gold plated but there are no markings and the base metal is showing through quite a bit on the chain and the fob and you can see some corrosion going on the sides of the fob in the 3rd and 4th photo where you can see some green encrustation around the stones and sides. Some nervous banker must have had sweaty hands to have worn away at this one. Please check photos because I don;t do returns. I have never cleaned this and I leave to the new owner because I don't want to cause further damage or corrosion to the gold finish. It's that darkish rose colored gold common back then. Chain is about 11.75" long.
