Waltham pocket watch is running and keeps good time. The serial number dates this 16 size (measures 2" in diameter not including the pendant) 7 jewels model 1899 open-faced hunting movement to the year 1901. The pocket watch is pendnat wind and set which works as intended with crown in excellent condition. The enamel dial shows some small light hairlines but nothing overly distracting. The blue steel hands are large and bright and in excellent condition. The crystal is free of any scratches, chips or cracks. The movement reads: A.W.W.CO....WALTHAM, MASS. The movement is bright and clean with balance showing good motion. The hunting movement (winds at 3 hour marker) is in a based metal DEFIANCE case. The case covers screw on properly and tight. The case has no dings or dents but back cover shows some wear to the metal. There is no monogram on the case. Bow is firm and looks original to the case. Overall a good looking Waltham pocket watch that is 112 years old still keeping good time. Buyer to pay $ 6.00 for priority shipping which will include insurance.
