A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Perpetual Watch, round 18kt rose gold case (41mm diameter, 13.5mm thickness) with see-through sapphire crystal case back, brown crocodile leather strap with rose gold tang buckle, silver dial with rose gold hands and applied Roman numerals and index hour markers, flyback chronograph function, large double date calendar window at 12 o'clock, day of week & 24 hour indicator (am/pm) located at 8 o'clock, large double date calendar window at 12 o'clock, month and leap year indicator at 4 o'clock, moonphase indicator at 6 o'clock, 45 jewel #L952.1 Caliber manual-winding mechanical movement with 36 hour power reserve, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, water-resistant to 30 meters. This masterpiece by A. Lange % Sohne is the first wristwatch that incorporates a chronograph and a perpetual calendar. It no doubt represents the most classic combination of complications, capturing the moment, the present, and eternity. Additionally, it is endowed with all of the features that make A. Lange & Sohne timepieces so distinctive. It owes its harmonious personality to the subtly offset symmetry of the solid-silver dial. The Datograph Perpetual can stop times of up to 30 minutes with an accuracy of one-fifth of a second. The precisely jumping minute counter provides unmistakable readings. With a single press of a button, the flyback function allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted instantaneously during an ongoing time measurement. The perpetual calendar displays include the day of the week, the month, leap years, a day/night indication, the moon phase and the outsize date. The latter deserves to be called a "perpetual outsize date" because it remains accurate until the year 2100; only then must it be manually advanced by one day. The first correction of the highly precise moon-phase display, also by just one day, falls due in 122 years. All displays of the perpetual calendar can be individually adjusted with push pieces recessed in the case or collectively advanced with a main push piece. To prevent this from happening inadvertently, the watch is fitted with an interlock device that only allows the collective switching of the displays when the crown is pulled. The Datograph Perpetual is available exclusively in Rose Gold with a hand-stitched crocodile strap, or with an exquisite Rose Gold bracelet.
