This is a beautiful Elgin Mens Watch. It is 10K Rolled Gold Plate. The watch has a large face, measuring 1 3/8" long lug to lug and 1 1/4" including the winding stem. The dial needs some cleaning. The large numbers and hands are gold filled as well. The number inside the back is 32284448. Information on this watch from the serial number: Serial Number - 32284448 SN Range - 32266001 RunQty - 30000 YEAR - 1928 GRADE - 4/0'S SIZE CODE - h3f1p JEWELS - 7j There is a second hand at the bottom. The inside back is clean. The movement works freely, but I cannot get it to run. The stem is wound tight. I believe the band is gold filled caps over stainless steel.
