Open Watch Movement Steampunk Necklace- This one of a kind Steampunk necklace was made from a vintage pocket watch movement. The movement was manufactured by the Ingersoll watch company and still resides in its original copper case with glass dome over the crisp black and white face. This beautiful watch movement is about 2" in diameter and solid but not overly heavy. The movement is fully intact and intended to be reversible. One side features the intricate mechanical gears of the movement hidden behind a steel panel with a delicate, if simple, pattern of guilloche' stripes. On the opposite side is the enameled watch dial with simple, classic black numbering still encased in its crystal dome. The knob of this vintage movement has been sturdily wrapped in copper wire for a classic industrial touch ad to allow the movement to swivel while worn. The simple beauty of the movement is accented with copper, brass and elegant green glass beads, then suspended from a copper chain with an ornate yellow brass toggle clasp. The entire necklace hangs just over 14" long to rest upon the breastbone on most necklines. Each Divine Iguana necklace is one of a kind.
