Universal Geneve Golden Shadows automatic watch This heavy, solid gold watch has been checked over and authenticated buy a professional watchmaker. I was told that it times out and that the movement is in impeccable condition. He also told me that the gold case is worth over $1000 in 18kt scrap, because it weighs about 31 grams without the band and movement. The movement is automatic 2-66 caliber, 25 jewels, with 2 adjustments. This watch is in almost new condition. There are some faint surface scratches on the crystal which could be buffed out. There is an unnoticeable chip to the sapphire crown stone. The band is not original, but comparative in quality the original (I put a new lizard skin one on). The case back still has the clear protective sticker on it!
