I always think it funny when I see someone out in their old jeans and sneakers but wearing a shinny new wristwatch. I love the look of old watches, their aged dials and worn cases. Don't get me wrong, I do like immaculate vintages watches and I have quite a few in my collection but there's a time and a place for every watch. Aged watches should go with old jeans and sneakers. Because of this I thought that I should have an "Old jeans and sneakers" section. Vintage watches that look aged but have quality movements under the bonnet. This jeans and sneakers watch is a classic 1970s designed Hamilton automatic Swiss watch. The large case is covered in thick gold fill. You can see by the photos that the silver coloured dial shows some age The quality movement however is running well and keeps great time. This piece of 70s history would be great for every day wear and is priced accordingly. This lovely watch measures 40mm including lugs and 35mm across not including the Hamilton signed crown. An elephant grain leather watch strap with a gilt buckle is fitted.
