The 1815 timepiece reflects the cultured character of Ferdinand A. Lange. It is richly endowed with intrinsic values but presents itself as a model of gracious mod-esty. Even the precious gold or platinum cases are un-pretentious. The 1815 only reveals its true treasure, the consummately finished movement, at a glance through the sapphire-crystal case back.
