A rare bicolor vintage ladies Art Deco period Rolex wristwatch in 18 karat rose gold and stainless steel. In excellent condition, this unique Rolex features a square stainless steel case with fitted bubble form lugs of luxurious 18 karat rose gold mated to a black silk cord band. Quite unique, it is very rare for us to find bicolor vintage ladies Rolex dress wristwatches. To find such a watch that is rose gold and stainless steel as opposed to the more common yellow gold and stainless steel versions is a rare treat for us as Rolex aficionados. Highly polished to a mirror shine, the stainless steel case is signed by Rolex on the inside of the caseback. On the outside of the caseback is the original serial number dating this watch to 1943 and making this watch an even scarcer piece as very few Rolex watches were produced during WWII due to material shortages. Completely serviced and in top mechanical condition the manual winding Rolex movement is keeping time properly just as any Rolex should. The movement is signed Rolex 17 Rubis Swiss, Patented Superbalance and is the highest caliber movement made by Rolex at the time for their ladies wristwatches. In excellent original condition the silver colored dial features Rose Gold hour markers, and solid gold hands~adding a unique touch of contrast to this beautiful silvered dial. Included with this fabulous vintage is a matching silk cord band with stainless steel clasp. We can size this band to fit any wrist size on request, free of charge. This Rolex measures 17mm in diameter excluding the winding crown, and approximately 1" in overall length, putting it on the larger scale for a 1940's era ladies Rolex. Layaway~Convenient & Free!
