At the Neuch?tel Observatory, Girard-Perregaux obtained certificates for its mass-produced watches, in a competition in which previously only specifically prepared watches passed the tests. In 1966, the Neuch?tel State Council decided to recognise the work and developments of Girard-Perregaux by awarding the brand the Observatory Centenary Prize.Limited and numbered edition of 250 pieces for worldwide distribution.
