QUANTITY: 10 Vintage Glass Clock Face Intaglios, Reverse Painted, Crystal Painting SIZE: 25mm x 16mm STYLE: Vintage Czech Glass Intaglio COLOR: Clear Crystal with Recessed Green Numbers UNUSED VINTAGE STOCK CLOSEOUT PRICING These unusual vintage intaglios feature a clock face carved in reverse on the back side of clear glass. They originate from the Czech Republic and date back to the 1950's. The paint is far from perfect and some of the glass around the edge has small chips that would be easily covered by a setting. As they are over 50 years old, it is part of what makes them special. I often paint the back with an ivory-colored nail polish or lacquer (prop face of glass on a piece of poster putty or double-stick tape so you don't have to handle) which adds to further enhance the design and protect the original paint. Great for scrapbooking, mosaics, jewelry, and general happiness.
