Beautiful vintage nurse's watch features a red sweep second hand and radium hands and numbers that use to glow in the dark. While this piece has been cleaned and oiled we did not reapply the material that makes it glow in the dark so we are not sure that it will glow. The sterling silver case has a dust cover to help keep the mechanism clean. The movement is a 17 jewel swiss made and has croton watch co inc. inscribed in the rose gold colored plates. The case is was never engraved with any initials,there is some minor wear from use. It is clearly marked for sterling on the dust cover as well as the outside cover.It measures1 1/2" including crown and 1 1/8" without crown,it dates between 1940-1950.
