Waltham 18S 15J LS HCM Wm. Ellery #1472924 pocket watch, early full plate gilt movement with engraved balance bridge has what looks to be some jewelers marks hand engraved on the plates, attractive porcelain enamel dial with roman numerals and subsidiary seconds register has some faint hairlines (not distracting), slender blue steel spade style hands, heavy white base metal (WBM) screw back & bezel (SB&B) smooth polish case with glass crystal and detailed engraving on the back of a locomotive blowing smoke, case showing normal even wear. An impressive vintage pocket watch from the late 1800's in excellent condition! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
