This stunning steampunk pendant was created from a lovely vintage, 10K Rolled Gold Plate, Bulova watch case. The broken watch gears were removed and 're-engineered' to create a beautiful new look. A mix of red and gold polymer clay was used to create a background for the carefully arrange gears to rest on. The gears are then covered in resin for both protection and a beautiful finish. The case is 10k RGP and in good condition with little to no wear on the gold. A vintage gold leaf sprig with amber rhinestone reflects the amber Swarovski crystal replacing the watch dial. Classy and elegant, you don't need to be a steampunk fan to wear this gorgeous beauty! Hung on a 18" Gold plated Sterling Silver chain, marked 'Sterling' on clasp. Most everything I make is 'one of a kind' and based on the materials on hand. You can be sure that you are buying a unique piece made with care. *As a note, vintage items listed here are usually 'found' pieces and have been previously owned and/or used.
