The engine that powers this sporty timepiece is Stuhrling Originalandamp;apos;s steadfast 22-jewel self-winding mechanical movement (caliber ST-90013) which presents a classic three-hand arrangement for the simple time and a quick set date at the three oandamp;apos;clock position.The large Arabic numerals at twelve and sixandamp;#44; as well as the bullet indices at have all been individually applied to the genuine carbon fiber dial. The sleek sport style hour and minute hands have been treated with the same Super Luminova as have the hour markers. The razor-thin center sweep second-hand features an arrowhead color coordinated to the minute marker dots that line the circumference of the carbon fiber dial. And just beyond the perimeter of the main dial is the outer track chapter ring trimmed with gauge-like minute and seconds markers complementing the overall theme of the Concorso. The entirety of the dial has been recessed into the classic 44.5-millimeter round case which has been constructed of the finest grade of stainless steelandamp;#44; 316L.The bezel has been beveled and treated with a mirror finish like the rest of the casingandamp;#44; and the stout guard rails protect the 7.5mm knurled edge crown. With dual `Oandamp;quot; rings on the inside of the crownandamp;#44; the Concorso allows for water resistance to 100 meters. The crystal that covers the captivating face is Krysterna for durability and the cyclops over the date provides double magnification to make the Concorso a quick at-a-glance read.On the flipsideandamp;#44; the Concorso stays true to its theme with a solid stainless steel screwed-in exhibition case-back that has been decorated with a checkered flag design akin to the carbon fiber weave on the face. The movement which is in plain view right through the back windshield of Krysterna has been embellished with pearlage and Cotes de Geneve treatments on the pillar plates and a Damier finish and Stuhrling signature on the Rotor.The final accoutrement to the Concorso is the genuine leather strap and clasp that joins this impressive timepiece to your wrist. The 22mm wide strap boasts a checkerboard pattern with a color-coordinated contrast stitching on its topside while being secured underneath with a water-repellant liner that meets your skin.
