Universal Geneve founded in 1894 as "Universal Watch". Along with neighboring Geneva companies Audemars Piguet, Girard-Perregaux, Patek Philippe and Rolex, Universal is internationally regarded for its style of craftsmanship. This Vintage 1960 Universal Geneve, is a big size, highly polished stainless steel case measuring. 38mm and 44mm lug to lug. Fitted with a aftermarket black leather watch band. Universal Geneve signed movement with LOGO, Swiss made, has 17 jewels and caliber 1-42. Movement has been cleaned, (disassembled, clean and every part inspected) Sets and winds properly as it should. Keeping time comparable to a quartz watch. The dial has been professional refinished to the original, with raised stainless steel marks and hands. Looks stunning under the new old stock sapphire, scratch resistant crystal The watch is signed and has logo's 3 times, dial, case and movement. Overall, the watch is near mint condition.
