Since its creation in 1848 by Louis Brandt, Omega has relentlessly pursued watchmaking perfection, earning worldwide honors and fame. Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the DYNAMIC is a wonderful example of a retro style. This fresh and practical watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of design elements that made it notable: *An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined after extensive study to be the best geometric shape for the wrist *Easy to read dial with "time zone" sections *Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m. *A stainless steel bracelet *This Dynamic has a quick-set date feature According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; it strap by the physiology of your skin." We are pleased to offer this first generation Dynamic. The first generation of the watch lasted from 1968 until 1970. The steel case is in very good condition. The colorful two-tone dial is very clean. The automatic Omega movement is keeping time accurate time though no guarantee is offered for its future performance. An example of this watch resides in the Omega museum, and a published example can be found in Marco Richon's work "Omega: A Journey Through Time". 56.3 dwt loc-oc
